CHANGED Church members are involved in a variety of ministries – from greeting guests with a friendly smile, to connecting in Small Groups. Here are some ways you can get involved with CHANGED Church Ministries:
How Can I Get Involved??
The purpose of the Outreach Ministry is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we meet; through personal witnessing, and the sharing the Word of God. To provide spiritual, educational, and social events and activities throughout the community that will promote Godly relationships. To equip individuals to serve one another; first within their families, communities, our nation, and throughout the world.
Matthew 28:18 – 20 & Acts 1:8
The Outreach Ministry will:
- Reach those that are incarcerated, hospitalized, institutionalized, and those that are in need of the gospel outside of a traditional church setting.
- Teach the Word of God in order to provide clear guidelines and instructions necessary to develop character and the qualities of Jesus Christ. Teaching all to be responsible for ones actions, to be accountable to others, and the importance of serving the needs of others as the true trademarks of leadership.
- Disciple individuals in a manner that encourages a continued pursuit of the newfound relationship with Jesus Christ, while emphasizing the significance of committing and connecting with a local church.
- Lead by example, a lifestyle that exemplifies what it means to be a follower of Christ (a Christian).
Music & Drama Ministry
CHANGED Church seeks to usher in the presence of God through our praise and worship experience. Some dance. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still, others get involved in drama. These volunteers play an important role in the ministry of CHANGED Church; using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Guest Services – Ushers & Greeters
The Guest Services team at CHANGED Church fills an important role. They are involved in directing people to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping guests, answering questions, providing direction, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The Guest Services team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to CHANGED Church.
Media & Technology Ministry
Using media to spread the gospel is important to CHANGED Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our YouTube page in video and/or audio formats. We also maintain an Instagram and Facebook feeds for additional church communication.
Prayer is key! Prayer moves the hand of God. CHANGED Church is a body of believers who depends upon prayer. Each Sunday, before and during the morning service, a team of prayer warriors are praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, members of our Prayer Ministry team pray for our Pastor, our CHANGED Church family, and any special prayer requests.
Men are the strength of a community and the family. C.H.A.N.G.E.D. Church is committed in the development, strengthening and the accountability of men.

Our women’s ministry centers on fostering relationships between women, whether it is mother to daughter, sister to sister, or friend to friend. “It was never my intention to start a women’s group because I’ve attended a few and I always
walked away not really understanding the point of the groups mission. I’d leave feeling empty and didn’t want that for our group. I want our company of women to be an intentional group of powerhouses empowered and ready to impact the Kingdom!”
First Lady Laura’s vision for the program is to create safe places for women to discuss where they are at every given season in their lives, thus fostering sisterhood built on God’s word, support, encouragement, humor and love.
When YOU come to Changed Church, you are automatically part of the Sisterhood! She participates in this program by giving back to the church either financially or by volunteering her services in other ministries such as Ushers, Greeters, the Children’s Ministry, or another labor of love within Changed Church.
Our 2020 launch of our women’s program is sure to be an exciting time in the life of the ministry as we bring in esteemed speakers to discuss various topics such as health and wellness, business ownership, parenting, financial literacy, mentorship, friendship, community activism and awareness and so much more!
Children’s / Youth Ministry
NOTE due to Covid restrictions, we have suspended our children’s ministry for now but we will be up and running soon!
Lil’ Champions of Changed Church is our youth ministry that services children ages 3 to 10 years old. Here, at Changed, we understand that we are developing the next generation of leaders. . . a privilege that we do not take lightly. We delight in providing our children with a true experience with God, which is accomplished through sound, bible-based teaching, in a fun environment and a teaching staff that
loves children, and are quite simply, the best at what they do. Our youth are part of our fourth Sunday services in the main sanctuary, every other month. This not only allows parents to see what their children are learning but also provides a platform for them to be encouraged, praised and recognized for their participation.
On Your First Visit:
Welcome! We are so excited that you are planning to bring your child to Lil’ Champions youth church for the first time! We promise to take excellent care of every precious gift that attends. If you would assist us with the following it will make your child’s first visit virtually seamless.
- We’ve discovered that sometimes our younger guests get a little nervous on their first visit, so to make them as comfortable as possible we will assign them a classroom “buddy” to show them the Lil’ Champions ropes.
- We ask that all parents with children new to Lil’ Champions plan to stay in the classroom for the first 15-30 minutes to allow their child time to acclimate to the new environment. Service in the Main Sanctuary begins at 9:00am. Children are not dismissed to attend youth church until 9:30am, however we still ask you arrive early to check-in before dismissal.
When our children leave, they will know they are Lil’ Champions loved by God and can accomplish anything through Christ!!

Evangelism & Discipleship Ministry
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of CHANGED Church is our mission to our community. It begins in our own community, and spreads to every nation.
